The children and their families came from around the Dammam-Khobar to attend the contest. The children proudly showed their work off to their families such as reciting Du’a, Quran, delivered speeches and etc.
The contest encouraged the children to be creative and innovative. "We wanted to encourage the children to make creativity an integral part of their life," said Mohideen Bawa, the chief gust of this contest who is in a special trip from Sri Lanka. "We want to plant the seed of innovation for the future.
"There was a special contest Musical Chairs Tourney- children were group in two categories in age basis. The winner of 1st prize from girls is Reema Jaleel. The winner of 1st prize from boys Ahmed Safiudeen
The rest of the winners received art kits, School stationeries, watches, a school bag and etc. After lunch and a tour of the Beach Villa, the children went back home with their families, their prizes and a sense of appreciation for their talents.
